Why I Started Creator Castle: From standard Vlogs to Building a Community
Updated: 58 minutes ago
If you watched my recent vlog from my trip to Italy, you saw me soaking in the incredible views at Lake Como, riding private speedboats, taking in the historical grandeur of Doge’s Palace in Venice, and trying to step out of the everyday routine back home in D.C.

While traveling through Italy, I spent a lot of time reflecting on where I came from and where I want to go next as a content creator. Looking at the architecture, the water, and the energy around me brought back that raw, creative spark—reminding me of why I got into content creation in the first place.
During the video, I announced a project I called Creator Magazine. Since filming, that vision evolved into something bigger, better, and much more focused on real connection: Creator Castle.
Here is the backstory of how a trip to Italy inspired Creator Castle and why we’re building this platform.

Reconnecting with the Creative Process
Before I ever picked up a video camera to start streaming or vlogging, my creative journey started with photography. Over time, as I built my online presence, my focus shifted heavily toward daily video creation and live streaming.
While I love making video content, grinding every day in the same familiar spots can lead to creative burn-out. Taking a trip out to Lake Como and Venice was a needed mental reset. Walking through historic halls surrounded by classical art and architecture reminded me that creation shouldn't just be about pumping out algorithms—it's about making something meaningful and elevated.
The Evolution: From a Magazine to Real-World Meets
When I originally recorded the vlog in Doge’s Palace, my first thought was to launch a digital magazine to highlight creators. But as I kept thinking about what content creators actually need right now, the vision shifted.
We don't just need another digital page to scroll through; we need space to connect in real life.
That is why Creator Castle was born.
Instead of just publishing articles, Creator Castle is built around hosting dedicated events, meetups, and high-production photo shoots for content creators.
The goal is simple:
Create Spaces to Network: Bring streamers, vloggers, photographers, and digital artists together in one room to collaborate.
Elevate the Content Environment: Organize events and photo shoots in venues that give off high-end, inspiring energy—bringing a touch of that grand "castle" aesthetic back to our work.
Give Creators a Real Platform: Build a true community where up-and-coming and established creators can exchange ideas, grow together, and feel supported.

Why the Name "Castle"?
Beyond the majestic architecture in Venice that inspired the idea, the "Castle" concept represents creating a solid foundation for our community. A castle is a gathering place, a stronghold, and a home base. Creator Castle is designed to be a home base for digital artists who want to elevate their craft, step out from behind their computer screens, and build real-world relationships.
What’s Coming Next
We are actively planning our upcoming events, meetup schedules, and collaboration sessions. Whether you’re a streamer looking to bounce ideas off other broadcasters, a photographer looking for stunning venues, or a vlogger wanting to meet peers in the space, Creator Castle is being built for you.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the main channel and followed along on this journey. We are just getting started.
